emerald tree boa wont eat

I spent 400 bucks on an emerald tree boa. it hasnt eaten since I bought it which was a month ago. it finished a shed about a week ago but it still WONT EAT! I was told to put him in a potato bag with a live mouse but I would be devasted if he got hurt in the process. the tempature and humidity should not be the issue. I’ve been going by the book. constant heat pad and 12 hours of full spectrum light and I spray down his tank quite frequently. he looks really healthy, isnt aggresive. also im not feeding him anything bigger than his head and I’ve tried both frozen thawed and live mice. ADVICE PLEASE!!!

Snakes also like frogs, if it is a smaller boa try feeding it frogs. If its still a smaller snake I would try feeding him frogs or toads. It would actually be safer that way for him to learn instead of going straight for mice. I am by no means an expert on the subject so this is just to help till someone offers a better idea. Good luck.
