Electrocuting feeling in my teeth? Please, please help!

so, all through out the day, I wasn’t having any issues with my teeth, I don’t usually have sensitive teeth, and when i do, its a light pain around the molars (which will be checked soon) but this pain is at the tips (bottom point) of my ‘fangs’ , but instead of a regular sensitive feeling pain, it’s more like electrocuting. I’m so hungry, and I can’t eat because it just simply hurts too much, I need help, any ideas on how to dim the pain? (I tried swishing around sugar and water then brushing, since this is what I was told a while ago but it didn’t work.) When I got back from school, i ate a Popsicle, it did have citrus (a lot of it) and it was also cold (quite obviously) i don’t usually get sore from this, but it’s really bugging me and it hurts, i just want to eat dinner! I only noticed the pain when i accidentally chewed on my earphone cord and felt this sort of electrocution in my tooth, and from then on, both of my ‘fangs’ have felt like that from any contact. PLEASE help!

Hey K-buu

First thing’s first - stop using those home remedies you were told to try. Anything sugary or acidic will only do more harm than good.

Obviously, you need to see a dentist, but in the meantime, see if you can get a toothpaste for sensitive teeth (let me know if you can’t get any) - it will greatly help to diminish the pain.
