Eating at night makes you put on weight?

I heard that if you go all day without eating and have a big meal at night you will put on weight even though you are having the same amount of calories or even less. Is that true?

Generally speaking, yes, due to the fact that your metabolic rate is very low at night while you’re sleeping & your body will transform the excess calories into fat that it doesn’t burn off during digestions or other exercise, which would be a lot of calories if you at a very rich meal high in calories.
