What do I do if my dog stopped eating?

She has been eating fine. I feed her a little in the morning, and a little in the evening/night. Today, I didn’t get around to feeding her until 1:00pm…so I put food in her bowl and left it. She has been going to it, and eating…so I just forgot about it.

I just went to put food in her bowl for tonight and her food from earlier is still there! Why didn’t she eat? It’s not like her, she usually gobbles it up! I tried putting her in front of it, and picking some up in my hand…but she won’t touch it.

Should I be worried? What could be the reason for her not eating all of a sudden…is it normal?

best bet would be to take her to the vet so they can try and figure out if anything wrong with her and why shes stopped eating

Sometimes our dogs do that. It’s pretty normal. You should probably just wait until tomorrow, and if she hasn’t eaten then, take her to a vet.

Switch foods she may just be tired of the food . But if that doesnt work it`d be best too take her too the vet(:
