dog sick
my little yorkie dog is sick, what kind of food should I give him to stop pooping so much?
Until she’s over the runs, boiled rice with hamberger or chicken (cook the burger of chicken in the same pot as the rice)…offer it several times a day. Keep her on this for 3 or 4 days, then VERY gradually start adding a little bit of her regular food to the rice mixture. If she continues having diarreah, then you might have to take her to the Vet for some Flagyl…it will calm her guts down within a day.
If you decide to change foods on her, then you have to do it gradually over a week or so to keep that gut calm…

Just like a different kind of food is not going to fix a human illness, changing a dogs food is not going to fix the dog (unless the food is the problem). take the dog to a vet…
