Dog getting sick during her heat
I have a pitbull, shes about a year and she just went through heat, right before she went into heat she got really sick had a fever and was in a lot of pain now that she is out of heat she got sick again with the same thing the fever isnt as bad but she barely moves she just lays around and when she gets up she cries when she moves she cries what could be the reason?
She needs to see a Vet. She may have Pyometra, which is can be deadly…Pyometra follows a heat cycle in which fertilization did not occur. Get this pup to a Vet NOW…

Get your dog fixed asap. This could be a genetic problem where her heat cycle can physically hurt the dog and make her sick. If you get her fixed she won’t go into heat and she will be healthy all the time!
