Why is my dog limping?

Theres a cut on his foot. What can i do for this?Is it something serious? He won’t even let me touch it.We can’t take him to the vet since money is tight at the moment. But do you think he will be alright?

Again… If you couldn’t afford to pay for vet bills you shouldn’t have gotten a dog. If he has a cut on his foot, there is a possibility there could be an infection, if it’s serious enough it could kill him. If he’s not letting you touch it and you can’t clean it then you could have a problem. If you insist on being irresponsible and not taking him to the vet if you think there’s a problem you’d better find a way to clean it.

Not to mention that in some areas you can get into legal trouble if the dog dies because it wasn’t receiving treatment.

Answer #3

Wash the cut, and bandage it. make sure it doesnt get infected. change the bandage once a day, and make sure u clean it too, with idk like soap…i guess. im not sure what ur supposed to use on dogs

Answer #4

Take him to the SPCA or an animal shelter, they help you for free if you really don’t have money. If there is a cut on his foot you’ll need to get it cleaned. Also get some gentian violet and put it on the cut.
