dog breeds

almost any breed just aslong as you give it enough exercise, love, socialization etc, so that its not agressive but protective of the house I.e dont let it become agressive to other dogs, humans etc, when taking out on a walk. you want a gaurd dog not an agressive dog. recomendations would probs be labs or retrievers maybe cross breeds like jdanzastar said =) x

You better decide on size…a small dog can be “protective”, but it can’t protect you very well. German Sheps, Rotties, Dobes, all need a LOT of socialization and exercise…you can’t just leave them go for 3 days, in hopes that it quits raining or something…it’s a daily chore.

German Shepards are good, I like German Shorthairs too, they love being around the family and can be protective.

I’m so sorry to hear that…I have a rottweiler and she is calm playful loving non agressive extremely loyal good with kids and very protective…so I’d say A ROTTWEILER!!! lol or a German Sheppard…little dogs are extremely hyper and annoying so they might not be 4 u…I hope this helps u

our family raises guide dog puppys, and id suggest either a golden retriever x labrador, or a pure golden retriever. good luck!
