Do you think he is too old for a female?

Do you think my male staff who is 7 years old to old to have a female because he wants a female friend ??

It could be a problem, just depends on his behaviour and if he would be tolerant to a puppy, some older dogs become snippy to little dogs because they are on differnt engery levels and don’t want to be bothered, Just make sure what ever you get is a good match for the whole family, and before you adopt a new puppy or any dog, make sure he is with to see how they react to eachother.

Is he neutered? If he is, then it wouldn’t matter if he gets a male or female friend. You wouldn’t want any unwanted puppies, that’s just irresponsible breeding. It’d be good to get the female neutered too when you do get her.

No he’s not too old, tho…I can’t tell if you’re asking about breeding him or just getting him a friend…If you’re looking to breed him, just keep in mind that Pits are the most numerous of ALL dogs killed in the shelters…there’s no reason to bring more of them into this world.
