Answer #1

^ obviously, but I need the scar tissue to go away first before I can stretch bigger b/c it’s to hard to rip through it an it’s unheathy to do that too

Answer #2

No no no…I WANT the huge hole, I WANT to make the huge hole bigger I understand that it wont go back Im fine with that. I just need to know how to reduce the scar tissue so that im able to make the hole bigger and yes cupcake5 I do mean like gaugeing only that’s the incorrect term. gauges are the jewelry your put in the hole “stretching” is what you do to make it bigger, get it?

Answer #3

if you have a relatively big hole in your ear then thre bottom wont thicken up how it done now ids how it will stay also be awar that people who get there ears gauged dont do there research first once you have a big hole in your ear, it will never close up it will heal, but it wont close up and skin that far apart and healed can reattatch itself so for thr rest of your life youll be left with a big hole in your ear and the only way to fix your ear and make it look relatively normal is with surgery

Answer #4

do you mean like gauges?

Answer #5

I took a knife and cut my scar tissue out myself (not recommended)

Answer #6

Them buy gauges in size bigger than your ear hole and stretch them.

Answer #7

Emu is the best, because it also heals. or vitamin E lotion is the next best which will thicken them up a bit. About the ridges…im not sure.I still have them after a year of stretched ears. But then again im constantly stretching.

important info.—dont stretch too fast! take your time. I’ve ripped my ears several times

Answer #8

One way to make your lobes thicker is by downsizing. I know it sucks but yes it works. Go down 1 or 2 sizes and then go back up. This helps build up collagen and making your lobes thicker. If you have a blowout or “ridges” downsize immediately!! You should never force a plug in your ear! That is bad and it causes blowouts. Stretching too fast and skipping sizes causes blowouts, tears, infections, bleeding, scars, etc. Use Bio-oil, Vitamin E oil, or Jojoba oil on your ears and massage them 2 to 3 times a day, it helps them heal faster, increases blood flow, and makes them healthy. It also helps with blowouts. DO NOT USE TAPERS TO STRETCH!!! They cause blowouts and infections. They should never be worn as jewelry because they are heavy and ruin your ears and they force your ears to stretch too much. And most tapers are acrylic and acrylic is not the best thing to use when your stretching because of the material and infections etc. And never use silicone to stretch because you ears can get stuck to it during the healing process, same thing with acrylic. The best thing to wear when you stretch your ears is stainless steel (metal) plugs. The secret to stretching is using P.T.F.E Tape aka Teflon Tape. It is used for plumbing. You can get it at a hardware store. It is not expensive. it is not sticky and does not damage your ears. And it does not hurt. You wrap it around your plug and a few days later put more around it until you’ve stretched enough to go up 1 size. This method is recommended by most piercers. NEVER SKIP SIZES!!! Do some research on stretching your ears and you will learn a lot of important things! I hope this helps you. If you need more information ask a professional body piercer or someone who is experienced.

I’ve used grapeseed oil for stretching, and bodyartforms.com has some stuff that might be helpful. It amazes me how many people use the incorrect terminology…

Answer #10

Well I’ve been doing massages with E oil, it seems to be thickening the hole slightly, and reducing scar tissue quite a bit. My ears are at 00, I plan on going as big as I possibly can. My left ear, however, was pierced off-center by a claires worker when I was seven, so my left ear is not nearly as thick as my right. Im hoping I wont run into too much trouble later on with it, though :/

ANYWHO! Salt soaks, as Im sure you know, help keep your ears healthy, and massaging with E oil 1-2 a day will help reduce scar tissue and increase blood flow to your ear, resulting in thickening of the lobe. Hope I helped a little :)

I have the same problem really. I have gauges, I’m at 7/8” and my left ear is thin on one side. I’m guessing it was pierced off-center. Resulting in the thin side on my left ear and not on my right.

And for the scar tissue, aka ‘blow outs’, Gradually tuck or fold them under your ear. Thats what I did with my horrible blowouts, and now they are gone. It takes a week or two for them to go away fully, but it works.
