do I need meds for my ADHD?

Ok I have adhd but I dont know if I should get medication for it or not im 13 and havnt taken medication for it but I thank its gettin worse!!! HELP

Just remember, many people with ADD/ADHD get thru life fine without the meds. Having been on meds for this can keep you from ever joining the military, becoming a cop etc. But if it is hindering your life, you do need to consult a physician.

well I had it under control for a little but now its getting out of control and its affictin my sleep on sunday night I only got 1 hour of sleep and thats how its been for a couple of years and other stuff is coming up

I have adhd I took medicine it helped a little but I dont take medicine anymore and I have learned to control myself.

You should consult a doctor about it. Medicine isn’t always the best answer though, so remember to ask your doctor about alternative treatments, even the pros and cons of taking medication for ADHD.
