Did Sunita Williams really accept Islam?

moiz, seag, you 2 seem to be from that lot of ummah who instead of investigating the things as Quran says, get away with rumors…How come you make such statements? I dont think you have read my message carefully leave apart getting my message in it. All I tried to do is to conviene iwelcomeu that there is no place of flase claims in Islam and such haox which have appeared earlier also, like the one of Neil Armstrong only damage our ummah. We dont need support of lies. We categorically reject it unless we have clear proof of it. Sunita is currently in india and I have been reading her interviews in news papers and trust me she hasnt shown any sign of becoming Muslim nethier has she admitted it. Why you guys want to throw it on world? If you have any solid proof of her embracing Islam why dont you guys go ahead and share that here and on other forums where people have raised same questoins?

And I am right when I say I have seen that picture even before Sunita going into space. Isnt that clear to you?

I request you guys to stand by truth and dont support such rumors. We dont need these…not at all. Islam is built on truth. Lets not misguide others ourselves and others.

Mr Rafeeq.. let me tell u something..u wud knw as a common sense that Sunita williams is an intelligent lady and den she is an astronaut who just went to da space. and den she turned to a muslim.. dont u think that u r talking a bit rubbish sayin that its not true and da pic u have shown through that site is da truth…she is a person who will neva CHANGE her own RELIGION to another RELIGION. obviously there was something which made dis talented lady converting her religion to islam. so the pic she saw from da space is true and i wud say dat shes a really nice person who belived it and den turned to a muslim ..not looking at da fake pic in some map thing..but looking at da truth and da fact…and yes not even an INSANE person will change his/her religion looking at some random satelite pic…as da one u have given as link…

Islam is a religion that desperately in need of support tactics to justify itself. What a pity.. This pic speaks for its desperation. Who is Allah? What is Ka’abah? Even in the Qur’an itself the story about Ka’abah is not accurate cause it is being told in 3 different ways. 1. The Stone that falls from “Heaven”,2. A Place that Adam built and 3. A place that Ibrahim built. Muhammad ..pls keep up your mind.. Which one is it? :-)

When the message of Muhammad pbuh was propagated, it was commanded on all people to follow Islam, regardless of their faith. Prior to this, the unadulterated forms of Christianity and Judaism were among the Divinely propagated religions. Also, the prophets such as Noah and Abraham were neither Christians or Jews, but followed the path of Allah (SWT).

I have a deep sense in allah but i still cannot just belive everything i read. was also a little scepticle that she would change her religion so easily. I mean she is a intelligent women and then even try to look for a rational explanation. I just do not think that she would instantly change into a muslim by just seeing it

As u have shown in the message that u have seen that snap shot before sunita has gone to the space. show me that pic link where u have seen with post dated time and proof ok… We don’t have any problem if sunita become muslim, hindu or christian ok…We don’t want you and ur suggesstions ok… We known which is correct and which is wrong we don’t want to spread Islam by saying lie and may be u don’t see some international news which r hidden by the government… ok…

Hi All Holy Quran says: “ O ye who believe! If a wicked person (or an evil-doer) comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth (look carefully into it), lest ye harm people unwillingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done.” (49:6)

All tittle-tattle or reports-especially if emanating from persons you do not know-are to be tested, and the truth ascertained. If they were believed and passed on, much harm may be done, of which you may have cause afterwards to repent heartily. Scandal or slander of all kinds is here condemned.

I am a Muslim myself from India. I do not think the news is correct. It seems to be a rumor only. The photograph you are seeing is not taken by Sunita Williams. I have seen that photo even before going her into space. I am sure media is going to ask this question here as shes currently on visit to her native place in India. As soon as I come to know about the real facts I’ll keep you posted.
