If you wish to get worked up over all this 2012 nonsense, please at least get the date right. It’s Dec 21, not Dec 12.

I think that the world will not end on December 12, 2012. Of course the ‘world will end’ eventually, but not on that day, I believe. The Bible says that no one will expect it, or see it coming when it does end. –> This is what I believe.

The main event that will take place acorrding to many people is that it will start a new era in the human race , and new cycle, although it all sounds rot to me, and why would you wanna meet god ? a person you destryoed u ? what a loser god is then

I really dont think it will. its all bullcrap give me a break. I agree with fruitylicious its supposed to be December 21st but omg,who knows when the world will end? yeapp only God, and whoever is afraid is becaue you know God will judge you and punish you UNLESS you are truly sorry for all the sins you have committed. And do not get me wrong, im 14 but I have committed at least 5 sins through my life. Nobody is free from sin except Jesus Christ and newborn babies (: Well getting to the subject… I really DONT think the world will end that day. Thats only my opinion dont hate.

even if it happens or not, im eager to see what is gunna happen that day, even with all of the people that think it wont happen, there are many many people that do believe it will happen. so I jjust think there will be complete chaos leading up to the day and on the day itself.lol. so I doubt the end of the world will occur, but I think something will happen.

they gave up on making a calendar that long! they are humans… we(humans) are lazy :] and if the world ends we all meet god! whats scary about that?!?!?!?!?!

It is the year that the Mayans said the world would end. They are already dead, or disappeared or something. So I wouldn’t take it too seriously.

no one knows when it is, only god know, like YEARSSS (haha I had to do that) ago, people said that it was gunna end in 2000 and lookits 2009, and were still here. so no, no one knows.

The Mayan cal. ended on that date and people asume thats the day the world will end. I say the mayans died before they could make more dates.

The mayan calendar ends 21/2012. So lets thing about how over-dramatic were being here. If someone 30000000000000 years from now looks at OUR calendar and goes “Oh my Gawd… The world according to old time humans indicates the world is going to end.. January! at 12:00 right when the clock strikes midnight!” Nah broski’s. The world will end when god decides to rapture our asses. and at that time like most people say, we meet the big guy in da sky. no big deal. I doubt anyone filling questions out ont his thing will live to see the end of the world. but hey. its still possible mayan’s were smart. but still the general description of it now is mayans FINISHED their calendar at that date. And what a horrible thing to say above me. People looking up these topics are probably scared out of their minds about what judgement god will give them when we die, But you say at the end of the world, the only way God will be forgiving is if were truly sorry, sounds good but Gods a preatty neat guy/girl and if you made a couple mistakes in your life aslong as its not a mortal sin or somthing I.e (murder) You’ll do okay,

Well the Mayans didnt give up, December 12,2012 is simply the end of the 12th cycle of the calendar, if the Mayans were here today, the day after December 12 would just start the 13th cycle, I believe each cycle is thousands of year but not sure how much. So no, I dont think the world will end, but I do think it will be a very interesting day, and I suppose it may have some significance, but at least I hope it wont be the apocolypse.
