Did anyone do the "Day of Silence" today?

people at my school did but i didn’t (: i support them and all but i dont think that i could manage to be quiet all day long!?

i used to do it in high school and every year me and my friends would get in trouble

I have a toddler and a newborn….”silence” doesn’t exist in my world lol. I couldn’t have done it even if i wanted too.

No probs (: And i support it because i have a lot of gay/lesbian and bi friends, and frankly i find nothing wrong with people who are gay/bi/lesbain, its not like they chose to be born that way to be ridiculed by others.

Nope but some people at my school did. This girl was mouthing every word and they asked her why she wasn’t talking and I just ask, “Day of Silence?” and she just nods. I don’t know how someone would be able to be quiet all day long but I support them anyways if that’s what they want to do.

Exactly! All day me and my friends kept our silent vow, and started handing out passes to other kids that would wanna do the cause, unfortunately not everyone was for it, but we got quite a few. ^^

its just from 9am till 4 pm its not that hard to be quiet for that long lol its understandable if you have kids or if ur by yourself then theres no point to it

I supported it but i can’t be quiet for more than 5 minutes, i don’t seem to shut up. I’m either arguing, laughing, talking to someone or myself. Kids at my school kept duct tape on their mouth though, I have it on my theigh & it says ‘ day of silence <3 ‘. & I b*tched out my freind that’s a homophobe cause he cause gays/lesbians/bi’s are an abombonation. c:

no i didnt, i thought it was actually dumb..in my opinion if theyre trying to stop the silence..why are they being silent? it doesnt make any sense to me.
