Dark shade around my vagina...?

Recently I have noticed that the area near and around my clitoris is getting darker in color. According to my mum it is caused by rubbing during masturbation.

Is there any way I can remove the dark shade? I want it to look pinkish again.

Please advice.

Masterbation has nothing to do with the pigment of skin on your vagina.

You are still young, as you mature, the color of your vagina may change. The skin change is normal, every woman has a different pigmentation down there.

Dont listen to your mom on this one, she’s completely wrong.
