How to get my Dad to get off my back?

My parents are currently going through a divorce. My dad and I didnt talk for 2 months until he got a court paper saying that if he did not talk to me he would not get custody (which he wanted for the money). now he calls me 2 to 3 times a day. I want him to get off my back. I have tried telling him to leave me alone but its not working. what should I do?

thanks freedn07. I see where your coming from. It’s just that I believe my mom on this one because before the divorce he was so mean to me and it is now really hard to cope with this. I want to believe that he’s trying but he is taking this whole thing in so many different directions and telling my mom that im saying bad things to him that I never ever said. I’m just really lost.

at this point there is nothing she can do. its all up to the judge. I just want this divorce to be over its been going on for 1 1/2 now. I cant take how he is so off and on with me like that. I just dont know what to do

The only thing you can do is continue to be honest with him about the way you feel. Just try to approach it in a delicate manner if you can. Is your mom going to let him have custody?

As I am also a divorced parent this is a hard subject. I also am a dad and let me tell you there are two sides to every story . I know for myself my EX.Wife told my daughter everything you could think of to make me be the bad guy . When in fact all I wanted was to be part of my Daughters life . I am not saying this is the case for you, But for myself , My daughter is turning 18 in march and we have only had the last 3 years together because of what her mom had told her. She sees now that I was not the only bad one in the relationship and I did infact love her. All I am saying is dont lose yiour DaD because what is been said , Hear both sides . Hope this helps you . Hit me help with anymore questions . GOOD LUCK
