Do you think I should ask my dad if I can sleep in the same room as my long term boyfriend on my 16th birthday?

nope you shouldnt ask if you want to be with your boyfriend go somewhere else and dont tell your dad it’ll make him worry on so many diffrent levels it’s best to just to tell him afterwards …that is if you two dont sleep :D

I’ve got friends who are really open with their parents and I’ve got some who are uncomfortable talking about this topic with their parents - -km the type that’s uncomfortable. It all really depends on your relationship with your dad, as well as how much he trusts you and your bf. If you feel and know he’s the cool and accepting type, I don’t see why you can’t be open with him. However if you know that telling him will just cause issues then just keep it a secret and wait till your bf and you are alone - what he doesn’t know doesn’t kill him!

If your dad reacted by not letting you see him for a month, no offence, but what makes you think he’ll let you stay the night with him? He might surprise you though. All you can do is be open and honest with your dad. Remember though, if he doesn’t let you stay the night with him ; Don’t get mad at him. It’s cuz’ he cares. ((: Good luck though!

well im a guy honestly its the same for everybody me if i told my dad i had a girlfriend or im gonna bang her hes probably not gonna stop me probably just say :use protection but if i said that to my mom she would probably kill me same for the girls you dont tell your dad that you had a boyfriend you tell your mom cause shes a girl and she understands and all that stuff
