How can I help my dad get custody of me?

I’m on probation, and my mother seems to think I’m breaking probation by staying with my father, even though he has vistiational rights. I usually come stay with him when ever I want, for weeks at a time when I need space from my mom. How can I help him get custody and prove that my mother is unfit to care for me.

Answer #4

Answer #5

. Under ordinary circumstances, I would say “… for all practical intents and purposes - yes …”. However, if you are on probation, I am sorry to say that it is highly probable that the Courts will have a clear view about where they are allowing you to reside while you are on probation. Furthermore, it is almost certain that they expect and require you to be resident at your Mother’s address at the moment, and that you would have to follow Colleen’s advice if you hope to have that “normal residence” changed to another approved address. However, your profile does not seem to indicate your current country of residence and any such legal restrictions will depend on your specific nation jurisdiction. .

Like majikthise posted, it really depends on the laws and guidelines of where you live. Be it that your on probation, maybe the best person to ask would be your probation officer?
