How can I cure this acne problem?

For about two or three years I’ve had acne on my back, neck, and shoulders. I haven’t found anything that helps and no that I’m older it’s stating to affect my social life. Does anyone know or have experience with how to get it cleared up.

Use acne creams {Proactiv, Clean & Clear, Netrugena} , but for me none of those things helped me I would highly recommend going to your doctor to get some ointments because they work wayy better than those tv products trust me I seen dramatic results in just the first week! hehe

hmm, sounds like you need more then just an ointment on this issue…if it was just a few pimples here & there i would say try some of those products…my brother has some of that on his back and has had it for years…he tried everything til he saw a skin doc got a few blood tests back & was told he needed to change his diet, even though he is on the slim side.

You see, some people have too much fatty substances in the blood that causes these acne issues. So cutting down on all fatty substances like no greasy foods, no high fatty poultry, no fatty dairy products…basically he had to change his entire diet!
He has been on this regime for about a month now & hos back does look a little better…also he has exposed his back to the sun as well…also helped…

Dont take my advice on this issue because I am not a professional in the business or something, go see a physician, dont waste time money & unnecessary stress over something that might or might not work. You case seems to be quite serious, you have it on your back, neck & shoulders…see a skin doctor pronto & get some blood work done… Best of luck to you! Hope this advice helped a little.

It’s not as bad as you made it sound. It is just a few pimples here and there, but I happen to get them in those areas, Mostly on my upper back around where my hair lays.

Answer #5

Have you tried sudo cream?? it’ll take away any redness etc and make them smaller??

Answer #6

well my dear you said you have been suffering from it for 2-3 years now so it is serious…if it’s just 2-4 pimples then it is not serious & you should be more specific then just say i have acne and it is affecting my social life…that by itself sounds like more then just 5 pimples here & there! Let me ask you something…Do use any creams, moisturizers gels sprays or anything of the sort while you hair is wet & then allow it to hang down you back uncovered? If so it may be the cause of it…when your body comes in contact with any hair care it might be causing your acne exactly in those locations…your neck, shoulders & back!

I would try to make sure your t-shirt or tang top covers all areas so your hair product doesnt come in contact with it for a few weeks just to see if it goes away…as an experiment! If it is still happening, I would still recommend seeing a skin doctor…maybe it is something else, like your perfume, body mist or any other products you may be using around those area’s…

Good Luck…

yaz birthcontrol is supposed to help a lot also, keep from touching your skin because the oils clog the pores.. keep your skin clean with something like phisoderm or spectro and use a product that does not have oil in it and contains at least 0.2% salicylic acid. don’t pick too..
