What can you do with a CPR card?

when you get the card?

Answer #1

you put it in your wallet, and when theres a situation like that you can preform a cpr on that person and that card is to show that you are certified so it shows that you kno what you doing..

Answer #2

CPR does not work :O

Type of Arrest ROSC Survival
Witnessed In-Hospital Cardiac Arrest 48% 22% Unwitnessed In-Hospital Cardiac Arrest 21% 1% Bystander Cardiocerebral Resuscitation 40% 6% Bystander Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation 40% 4%
No Bystander CPR (Ambulance CPR) 15% 2%
Defibrillation within 3–5 minutes 74% 30%

ROSC is : Return of spontaneous circulation, which is the return of “life” after a cardiac arrest, weak pulse, movement etc. are part of ROSC, and no it has NOTHING to do with the effectivness of CPR

Answer #3

True…but, anything above zero, to me, is worth something. :)

Answer #4

the main problem is that CPR can lead to even more problems, like broken ribs, deep bruising etc. and if you calculate the fact that a non professional will probably mess up the rythm that is needed for a “successful” administration because of the high tension surrounding such a procedure…..
