Is it bad to cover up your sadness with smiles?

No, not really I do it every day and no one knows that i’m truley not happy.

You can always smile even when you are sad. That could be the way to get over with the sadness.

it won’t be sincere smile, but “true” Believer Muslims smile sincerely even if something Disliked happened, the prophet peace be upon him said: “How wonderful is the case of a believer; there is good for him in everything and this applies only to a believer. If prosperity attends him, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is better for him”. maybe if u could, u should endure it patiently :P>

Never pen up your feelings. I’ve done that a couple times and ened up with holes in the walls of my bedroom. Let it out. Talk to somebody. It doesn’t matter if it takes a while, it needs to be done. keeping your emotions to yourself is like asking to be torn to peices from the inside out. Otherwise, the emotion will only grow larger and more potent until you explode.
