I bought the present that I gave him it for Christmas in Japan??

His Christmas present from me was purchased in Japan. While in Japan, I bought him a Christmas present. I gave him a Christmas present that I had bought in Japan. ?

Thanks, I’m not a native speaker and yesterday I came across this question and this is how I did : I bought the present that I gave him for Christmas in Japan… is it correct? or does it make any sense lol?

Well, I got out in 88, then they called me right back to Kuwait a year later. Was just in and out of there for a bit…………was in Turkey after that and Saudi. I got to come home because I was done with active duty and still on inactive reserve, but the regular guys came in and took over. With all due respect, I really can’t say anything else about that war on here ok? Please understand.
