How can I cope knowing my dads going to die soon?

Hi, Im 15 years old and About six months ago my dad was diagnosed with male breast cancer. It was only stage two at the time and things were looking very positive for him. A couple months later he had that surgery, the one surgery girls with Brest cancer get. And they found alot more lyphnotes then they wanted to. He was plan to start chemotherapy and radiation a couple months later, but the day before he should of stared chemo he had to go in and get a CAT scan just to make sure everything was okay. But sadly the next day my mom and dad found out that the cancer has spread all though out his bones and body :( so his cancer is now at stage four, the last stage. So there’s no point in chemo for him now because he’s going to die soon.

He’s 45 and a very religious catholic and he is such a nice, friendly guy. He has 6 kid, I come in at number 3. I have a hard time talking to him sometime cuz things can get awkward.

I’m so sad and its making me very depress. Oh and you should see my mother, she’s a complete mess! Shes a tough lady but lately she’s been crying all the time, which makes me even more scared.

She has been so soooo depressed and emotionless. I’m scared she might commit suicide. Which would make me and my little brothers and sister orphans :(.

Blahh I have no idea what to do! I don’t no how long he has to live, my parents are finding out tomarrow. Someone please help me!! Thank you

How terrible!!! I know it’s very scary and very very sad. I’m sure your whole family feels terrible. Find a support group where you can meet other people who have gone through what you’re going through. They might be able to tell how they survived, but at least you will be able to talk to someone who understands. You can find support groups through your doctor, hospital, or your church. You can find help finding a support group online by typing this into google: cancer support group Hug your mom and dad as often as you can and tell them you love them.
