Convincing your parents to let you get a tattoo?

This may sound ridiculous to you all but I am 23 and already have 2 tattoos. My first I was 17 for I got a tattoo on my hip. My parents found out about it and my dad likes to pretend it doesnt exist and was so angry with me, and the minute I turned 18 I got 9 more added onto it. They don’t know about these ones. Then a year later I got a big bird cage on the side of my thigh that they don’t know about also. The thing is… I want to get bigger more visable tattoos on my calfs and legs etc but my dad hates them with a passion and I don’t think he would ever talk to me again an I still live at home. He isn’t interested in hearing the pros and cons or that they don’t have a stigma against them anymore. His point is that he has never had one and no one in his family has and he doesn’t want me too…. How the heck do I go about getting one. Or convincing him it is a good idea… Help!

well i mean you are 23 you can do what ever you want hes not the boss of you and its your life not his you have to deal with it not him…. id just tell him its your life and its not effecting him so why should he care…… and hes your dad im sure he will come around to it i dont think hed cut you out of his life because of that he might not talk to you for awhile and be mad at you but eventually im sure he will come around to it just tell him to be more open minded about it…. my dads gfs parents are the same but she ended up getting a tattoo on her back and they dident mind to much.
