How can I convince my parents to let me get my monroe?
I have wanted my monroe pierced for 2years now, and whenever I ask my parents call me stupid and tell me I’ll regret it. I’m 17, so old enough to go without an adult, but my parents are REALLY strict. I’m trying to think of ways to get them to come around.
Just tell your parents why you want it, and how much you want it and hopefully they will understand
your not going to be able to convince them to let you have it. Yes I think that piercing is stupid too. I dont think its right for your parents to call you stupid for it.. Let them know your reasons for wanting it.. (not because everyone else has it)
Its a piercing, so if its something you dont want later in life you can take it out, without chances of a scar
but you are 17 and likely looking for a job as well… and let me tell you by experience.. most places will not hire you because of it… (I’ve been the one with the piercing that got turned away, and I have been that manager that didnt hire someone for the same reason)
they really just dont look that good
Hmm my advice is just get it and hide it from em. :) Or try telling them like you want to get it very badly and its removable not like tattoos.
