How do I deal with my parents' complicated divorce?

my parents are getting a divorce and im always on my mom’s side of things but now my dad is starting to make a lot of sense too but then again its hard to get along with him when he was never there for me or my brothers when I needed him and now he has this new girlfriend with two little girls and one of them used to be my best friend and hes just ALWAYS there for them and it hurts my feelings badly like he just doesnt want us or something like we aren’t good enough but I don’t know.. im just so confused.. and upset.. I dont like to admit that this whole thing is getting to me but truth be told it definitely is.

Hi,

Is there anyway you can talk to your parents about how you hate being put in the middle? Also, I would ask them if you could maybe see a therapist or go to the guidance counselor at your school when it begins. It’s not good to hold stuff like that inside, so I’d try to talk to someone in real life about it…
