Community college or not

Im thinking about colleges Should I go to a community college to take my core classes and then transfer or go directly ot a University? What are the pros and cons of both

Answer #1

it’s a good thing to consider if:

-you KNOW what you want to major in and what you want your career to be -you want to pay for your core credits (your A.A. degree) cheaply -you want to raise your GPA to get into a better university down the road -you know which and how many of your credits will transfer to the university you will be applying to. most universities will accept all your credits if you have your degree instead of just a bunch of credits.

I did this too, I went to a community college and then transferred to a major university. no complaints here. I had a great experience and it was cheap! lol. just make sure you know what you want to go into because once you get into the uni, you won’t have any time to waste on the core classes anymore. they will all be ones for your major.

plan ahead. fnmail me if you want more info :)
