That usually depends on how long you leave the dye in, Most of the time, the longer the hair dye left in, the brighter your color will show up, so if you leave it in longer, you should have more of the caramel color your looking for, however you might still end up with a dark brown because your previous color was black, sometimes black is a difficult color to cover up.
The color probably won't work if you have black hair. You should bleach it first.
Hair color is like paint. If you have your hair dyed red and you mix in yellow dye a few weeks later you will get orange hair... except if you have black hair... then you just get black...
You wont be able to dye it any other colour from black unless you grow it out or get it stripped/bleached. Go into any hair salon and ask for their opinion about how to do this
You'll just mess up your whole hair, I guess the easy way to not damage your whole hair completly is go blonde and get a color that is carmal.
well what if i died it like darkish blonde when I allready have a black dye in, would it go caramal brown or just ranga?
Black is strong and if you put it with a light color it'll show up dark.
okaaay; oh gosh :L this is gonna be hard :S
Dark brown, I think.
