After dyeing my hair black, can I dye it back to brown

I just dyed my hair black yesterday, and now it didnt turn out as I wanted. Can I dye it back to brown? Im not sure if it will show uo, or dye over the black. What should I do?

Answer #1

u should bleach it until its light light color then you can dye it brown but you might have 2 do it more than once because the color might not take

Answer #2

I coloured my hair black back in november and would love to go back brown, I’ve been trying everything, I did all the research how to do it the cheapest way from using shampoo with coal tar in it to fade the hair colour to dying it light brown and nothing works, I think the only way u’ll get rid of black hair is by going to the hair dressers and having streaks put in over a long time u’ll then change from black.

No I wouldn’t…or if you are, I’d go to a professional salon. First of all, you won’t be able to dye your hair back to brown without stripping it first and that’s WAY too much stress and damage on your hair. You could lose a lot of it. The color won’t take unless you strip it first. You might be stuck with black hair for awhile unless you want to spend the money to go to a salon.
