Why are Q-Tips cold after using them?

Why is that q-tip is cold after cleaning your ears then using again???

I think it is because we are warm in our inner ears. I mean you can take a temp in a ear. So if you pull the Q-tip out and back in your ear it would be colder then your inner ear?

hahaha that makes a lot of sense ^^^ like wax =moisture cause it is this sort of wet thing I guess you can say(yuck) lol… its like wetting a papertowel, even if the water was warm.. leave it out in the “air” for a few seconds and it will b cold. lol!

because theres moisture on it, when that moisture comes into contact with the air after you swish it about it will get cold.

not that im cheap and re use qtips but there are times when I use the same one after putting it in my ear once! many people do that. its just wierd how its cold after you use it once! just a question out of curiosity on why its cold?!!

Why would you re-use a Q-tip!?!?!? they aren’t expensive so get another one please and you won’t have this problem. Besides doctors say you shouldn’t stick ANYTHING in your ear!
