If it is ceramics, you can use any of floor cleaning liquid. If you see any spot, you can use Vixal (ceramic cleaner) If it is made of wood, you must take care of it since the very beginning by avoiding any scratches. Scratches will not go away with any cleaner. And for wooden floor you can use Pleidge, wood cleaner.
Pledge is a furniture cleaner for wood, but it's not for floors. To clean and maintain the natural beauty of hardwood floors, something like Murphys Soap Oil should be used.
You have no need to do any thing because there are so many floors in which cleaning are automatically exist.
It depends on what kind of floors you have, but I would think any floor polish or was would do the trick.
Wax and a buffer, this is what I used in the military, and we had it looking like glass every night.
