What is a good price for cleaning empty apartments/laundromats?

I’ve been asked to give a bid on cleaning (moved out of) apartments and also laundomats. I’ve never done this before. What do other people charge?

Hi,

I would charge a price per square foot. That way you get more money the bigger the area is. Since laundromats are often large (at least in Miami where I live), this will help you make money.

Another option is to charge hourly: the last person who cleaned my empty apartment charged $35 or $40 an hour (I don’t remember now, but it was around there).

Good luck.
