It depends on the breed of chicken. You should be happy that you found that kind of breed. There are varity of chickens which lay white or brown or green etc clors of eggs.

Blue and/or green chicken eggs come from the Aracuana chicken, which is a breed of chicken from Chile. Araucanas are bred with other breeds to produce the Americauna chicken, or, “Easter egg chicken” due to its colourful eggs. Essentially the blue eggs are the same as the white or brown eggs…just prettier!

yeah because they taste the same its just that the look green,i’ve been trying to hatch the eggs but they always die
