How do you breed/raise chickens for eggs (read more)?

How do i clean chicken eggs for eating? How many eggs does a chicken produce per day? How do i get white chicken eggs? How do i get brown chicken eggs? How many chickens per male when i’d like chicks in the spring? Can i keep chickens, ducks, and turkeys together?

Any advice would be great.

Answer #1

first you need a proper environment then cage and money , if it is a big cage then you can keep them all together , it gives one egg per day and one rooster for 6 or 7 hens i think it is enough

We’re moving to a different farm so i’d like to start making a egg inventory since i breed labradors. I’d like a home made diet, and eggs are a main protein.

[1].you only have to wash the mud or hay anything like that off the egg. [2]. a chicken doesn’t produce an exact amount of eggs per day. it has a different amount every day but each one of my chickens lay around 2-3 eggs a day. [3&4].you can’t make the egg any color you want. it depends on what type of chicken you have etc.[5]. you can have about 3 male chickens and 6 female, it doesn’t matter really. but if you have alot of male chickens it would DEFINATLY boost your chances of having chicks. [6]. I’m not very sure. but I’m pretty sure u shouldn’t mix ducks and turkeys together. hope I helped xxxx :)
