Charged with rape??? V2

ok, I’ll be a bit more specific with this 1.

My girlfriend is 15, I’m 16. She wants sex. The age of consent law means that she has to be 16 (we live in north carolina). If I have sex with her, legally I can be charged with statutory rape, right?

She is a foster child, that means the state has custody of her. witch means The State can press charges on me.

Is their any loophole I can use? oral sex?

As to what would happen? And nobody would have to find out…what happens if she gets pregnant? What happens if someone overhears you or her talking about it? There are so many different ways that they could find out.

Not only would you be charged with statutory rape, corrupting a minor or child molestation but if convicted you would have to register as a sex offender for the rest of your life. You would have a hard time finding a job, you would not be able to live anywhere near a school, you would not be allowed around other children (any kids), you would be shunned from society and mothers that know who you are (and believe me they will) will teach their children to stay away from you. When you register as a sex offender the public has the right to know this but they will not know that you were “in love” with the girl and that she was willing. All they will know is that you raped someone underage (they won’t even know the age of the person…for all the public knows it could of been someone…boy or girl…that was 5). Do you want to live like that?

Wait till she’s older, if it’s real love then she’ll wait because she wouldn’t want you to have to go through that.

Even if she admits she wanted to have sex the state can still charge you. The law says that anyone under 16 is not emotionally mature enough to make an adult decision. They don’t need her to prosecute you.

Scare tactics dont work on this new generation.. 70% of the kids in middle school have already had sex, you can try and wait. but I doubt it will work.

Just dont be stupid, dont announce it, or tell your friends, if its actual love, theres no reason to brag about it. as for my opinion, its just my opinion. so anyone responding to my message, just realize that its (my opinion) dont freak out about it.

Im not too sure about the laws there, I just pay attention to the under 18 law, seeing that im 21, but I do know that statuatory rape, is something that you can be charged with for like 20 years. say you have sex now, and 19 years later, the state finds out about it, they can still charge you. if they have evidence, exe exe. seeing that your both under age. I dont think there is anything against the law. im not too sure, but if she loves you. and its not just a fling. if she does not say anything im sure you will be fine.

sethj is right man just go for it dont worry about it

Answer #6

sht!! that scare tactic scared the sht outta me!!

Answer #7

if she admits she wants to have sex the state cannt do anything but in the worst case she sais she didnt want to and you forced her to you can get into a huge mess

Answer #8

The law covers ALL sexual acts, including oral sex, hand jobs, fingering, anal sex and vaginal sex. You can not legally have a sexual relationship with a minor.

Answer #9

I’m going to have to go with colethky . If you have to hide it you already know it’s wrong first of all. And second anytime you decide to do something you know you could get in trouble for it is 50/50 that you could get caught. It isn’t a scare tactic, it is facts. And that is something you should know before you make any decision.

Answer #10

Thank you sthm3…I wasn’t stating the facts because I wanted him to be scared, I wanted him to know exactly what could happen to him. Anytime you break the law you risk the consequences and to make a better decision you should always be informed of exactly what will happen.
