How do i change my NAT setting for xbox 360?

well my NAT is set to strict for xbox 360 and idk why. I try changing it but it stay Strict, i enter my own IP i try port forwarding ect. ect.? Idk maybe i’m not doing something right for it, Anyone here got some steps i could take to Change it???

Hello,

This is something you must set in your router. What brand/type of router are you using? Once you access the configuration on the router, you must open the following ports:

88 UDP 3074 UDP 3074 TCP

Please let me know the router you are using and I will see the instructions.

For the port range, just do “88 to 88” and “3074 to 3074” for step 4. Your protocol type is UDP for 88, and UDP/TCP for 3074. Once you have this set, your XBox will be OPEN NAT type.

Stupid site. Just go to google and type in “how to open port on linksys router”. Then click on the second link. The link is labeled “Port Forwarding on the Linksys BEFSR41 Broadband Router”.

easiest way is to get your router ip and your xbox ip.. u get the router ip by going to the companies website.. and u can get the 360s ip from system settings in the dashboard.. once you have both u enter ur router ip into the address bar on a web page.. nd it shuold bring you to a page saying password and user.. u can find ur username and password from googlle.. then u go to dmz.. enable dmz.. then u enter ur xbox ip and everything is open.. i idd it yesterday :)
