Why wont my flash drive work with my xbox 360?

My profile used to be on this flash drive but i erased it and anyways now im using my flash drive and it was empty, recongifured it on xbox and now when i plug it into my computer (its 8gb) it says its completely full. when you open it up theres only an xbox360 folder with like 10 documents taking up the space but if you delete them you have to recongifure it again and i really want to put my stuff on it again please help.

You can potentially compress the files on the flash drive, but that may make them unrecognizable to the xbox, so everytime you want to use a file, you’d need to decompress it.

Other than that, the other option is to simply get a new drive with a bigger amount of storage.
