What could be causing my friends tongue to still be numb 2 weeks after having her wisdom teeth removed?

She spoke to her dentist and they said it could possibly be nerve damage and it may last up to a year or be permanent. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before? Is there any way she could sue them or anything of the such as well?

Maybe after effects of the anesthesia?

One of my friends experienced something similar. The doctor is right it is nerve damage and it’ll take a long while before it goes away. I don’t think she can sue them, because the documents that you sign which tells you about the procedures actually mentions the nerve damage as a side effect.

Oh and people READ the question that she asked, not just the heading.

Answer #4

Yea probably to much novacaine.
