Cat hair shedding.

Is there a way to keep a cat from shedding so much? I have tried to brush her out to prevent it a bit, but she still seems to shed just as much after she is brushed. The hair is all over my furniture and I don’t want to get rid of my cat.

Maybe if you use a FURminator brush, your cat wouldn’t shed as much, and you don’t need to brush her as much either.

maybe try a groomer? but cats do go through periods of shedding… not too much you can do (buy leather furniture?)

brush your cat regularly. You can get special glove type brushes I think that catch more of the hairs so that you pick up more of the hair thats moulting.

If my cat starts shedding loads of hair I take care to brush her fur a few times a day so that it doesn’t get stuck to wherever she lies :)

Funny tape the hair on.

The only thing you can do is keep brushing until your cat stops shedding. Make sure you do keep brushing so that is doesn’t ball up and don’t cut into the cat with scissors, big mistake.
