Cartilage piercing help and telling parents?

So…I pierced my cartilage a week ago just above my first. Yeah, stupid idea I know but I got all my others with a gun so I thought why not pierce it myself. Well there is no problems so far…it’s healing fine. My questions are…can I pierce above it (so I have my first healed one, the second one that is healing and then another one above it) or should I wait till the first one heals? Is that a bad idea? And can I pierce my cartilage on the other ear or will it be impossible to sleep!? I can sleep on my healing one with a bit of difficult but not much. Then after those question is a bigger one. My parents don’t know about my healing cartilage piercing…I know! Another dumb move on my part but too late now…I was wondering if I should tell them? I can’t hide it forever (keep in mind I’m not an adult, I live under their roof and I promised no more piercings), I think they’re is a chance they know about it but for some reason are waiting to get mad (I don’t know!!) and I feel HORRIBLE!! This is the worse thing I’ve done in my life so far (I’m a bit of a goody-good shoes or w/e)!! I promised them and went behind their backs, tonight we had this talk about them trusting me (I brought a subject up to talk about this) and I felt so bad I was about to tell them then and there but decided to make sure what I want/should do…Is it true that you won’t get in too as much trouble if you tell them yourself??? Why?

i would tell your parents that you feel horrible about going behind there back and that you regret not telling them. if they dont get mad just say im sorry and thanks for understanding. if they happen to get mad, tell them that its just a piercing and that if they really dont like it, you can just take it out. i dont think you will get in as much trouble if you just tell them right away. other wise if they find out from others (which happened to me about stuff) that you will deffenetlly get in more trouble than you think!!. hope this helped!
