Cant drink alcohol!

Help!! For about a year and a half I have suffered from random hot flushes, even when I’m cold my face goes really red and gets hot and I have to actually strip down until my body shivers and wait for my face to de-red. It just started to get worse lately and now I can’t drink alcohol when I go out because my face goes ridiculously red and I’m pale so it looks obvious. The only reason younger girls get it is generally because they’re going through puberty.Well being 18 I’m long past that stage, so I really cant find a reason why? it never used to happen, Does this happen to anyone else?

Answer #1

Unable to drink alcohol is not a major disaster - I’d consult my Doctor to ensure all is well.

Answer #2

The alcohol is very addicting and, not good for your body. You must have an ellergec reaction from it and, that’s probably causing your liver to go bad. You shouldn’t drink alcohol anyway, since the lord doesn’t want us to put anything harmful in our bodies. It all depends on everyone when drinking alcohol. People could have strong amune systems, some have weaker amune systems, and, some might have worse conditions like the hot flashes and so forth. If this continues, I would recomend seeing your doctor.

Answer #3

Your liver isn’t going “bad”, that would cause completely different symptoms. I agree with amblessed, not drinking is not the worst that can happen and I would see a physician…it is most likely hormone related. We have hormone problems throughout our lives, not just during puberty.

Sounds as if you are a social drinker, but still a bit young to begin all that. Prolonged, heavy use of alcohol can lead to addiction (alcoholism). Alcohol is not as addictive as goodgirl states.
