I have had my belly button peirced for about a week and a half now and its infected hydrogen peroxide doesnt seem to work and neither does anti bacterial wash. And I herd somthing about sea salt but all I have is lite salt would that work?

go to walmart, or something and buy “witch hazel”

its actually the best thing. and, also. its what its used for.

:) the piercest actually gave me a bottle

Answer #2

I was told to never use hydrogen peroxide on a piercing, it actually slows down the healing process. Salt is very good for piercings, I suppose any kind of salt would work. Fill a shot glass with warm water and salt. Stir until dissolved. Stand up and place the shot glass against your stomach around the piercing. Now, you should be able to gently lie down with the glass sorta suctioned to your skin. Soak your piercing a couple times a day for a few minutes each time and this should really help.

Hmm I was told not to use polysporin on it, and the first few weeks it would not heal so I decided it couldn’t do any more harm to at least try, I tell u, this stuff worked better then anything I’ve tried…
