I know this might not answer your question but how did you use ‘can’ to begin with your question o_o And I’m pretty sure you can use lg kp500 for boost mobile.

Only GSM network locked mobile phones can be unlocked to use with any other GSM network. So if you unlock a GSM network locked LG KP500, You cannot use it with Boost network because Boost mobile has two types of service, CDMA and IDEN. So technically its CDMA and TDMA, they do not have GSM service. Anyway if you still wish to unlock your LG KP500 to use any other GSM network, you can do it safer and easier using unlock code. You can get the unlock code for a LG KP500 from http://www.prounlocking.com/lg-kp500/rs16wp9/ at affordable cost with easy unlocking guide. Good luck mate.
