Answer #9

yupps, you can certainally go swimming on your period, it’s good for you! - exersise that is! =) and yupps, a tampon will help you prevent from leaking!! and nope, what mrscobainx3 has said isn’t true, well it’s not true for me at least, cause I’ve leaked in a pool before!! and my god it was embarassing!! thank god it was at my aunt’s pool, and it was only family that were there!! :P other than a tampon, I don’t know anything else that’ll work!

Answer #10

well just go in the water the pressure will stop your period when you get out then run and put a tampon in or pad on because it will start about 30seconds to a minutes after the pressure is released.

Answer #11

if you are on your period and are about to go swimming will a pad work? or will it leek?

Answer #12

Yeah,if you use a tampon,it will NOT leak into the pool,I promise you. I do it all the time, and its works perfectly.

I’ve also heard,[[aand you can do the research if youd like]] that when you are in a pool,or body of water, your period doesnt leak anyways, because the water somehow keps it all in.So,I’ve heard that on your period,if you dont wear anything at all, youd be totally fine, because you wont leak or have any embarassing moments. I’m not sure on the actual fact behind this, but you could look it up.It would certainly make things easier,if its true.

Answer #13

yeah you can if you wear a tampon … but I dont know of anything else that you could use

Answer #14

Definitly you can wear a tampon if you want but you don’t needa I went in the pool today with a tampon I went in the pool today no leaks or anything just when your dne in the pool dry off completly and put a pad on!!!

Answer #15

You can actually wear a pad in the water. I tried it last weekend , and trust me I had a heavy flow. It still works and it’s veerrry comfertable. You don’t have to wear tampons you can also wear a pad. Even though when you look it up it says you shouldn’t but those people are obviously just assuming that you can’t seeing as I tried it and it works , so don’t worry pads work , and so do tampons.

Answer #16

hey I think you use a tampon I just got mine and I dont want to use a tampon…niether does my mom…im a competitive sswimmer help me please

Answer #17

Ive had my period for over a year and ive never used a tampon. ive been swimming before and i havent worn anything. your period stops when your in the water. but when you get out you definitaly have to change and put a pad/tampon in.
