What should I do my period is going more then 7 days ?

My period has bin going on for about 7 days now iam 21 and it has never bin this long I think I maby mess up my pills and thats why this going on for so long … Should I start takeing my pill I bin off for 10 days now I it sais to start up after 7 days

it depends how heavy it is… if its super heavy see a doctor cause my sister had that and the doctor said she would have died if they didn’t see the doctor.
