Can you get synthetic hair wet?
Ok so I have those clip in jessica simpson hairdo extensions, the synthetic kind, and I want to wear them to the club this weekend, but it is a foam party, which means my hair will get super wet, lol so I want to know if this is okay for them? I’ve heard both answers, yes and no, they are supposed to be good for rain, so I was hoping it would be the same for this foam party?? ahhh let me know please!

Definatly not!! I have been doing proffesional extensions for 8 years now, NEVER get synthetic hair wet, apply heat or a hair dye. If you have real hair extensions you can do pretty much anything with them, wash, straighten, curl, and even dye!! Synthetic hair is just not made for it!!
Call a stylier and ask them if you can get it wet. I dont think there is anyone on here with the correct answer unless they wear them too. A styliest is better at hair then a non one lol.
They will get knotty and heavy. My friend went to a foam party at a club wearing hers and her hair was so knotted they had to cut the clips out.
I want to go to a foam party. :) Yeah, talk to your stylist… I would imagine if it’s okay for rain, it should be okay for foam. It probably won’t look the same as the first day you got them, though.
