Can my chihuahua die from eatin abone?

My dum a** boyfriend gave my 5 pd chihuahua a huge pork shoulder bone to chew on shes was throwin up all night so I took her to the vet in the mornin he did ex rays and gave her meds but shes still sick shes not throwin up or has diahrea but shes not playin all shes doin is sleepin im so worried is makin me sick should I call the vet again?

when the dog eats bone fragments many of them can splinter off and cause incredible discomfort being lodged in your dogs organs and they pass their way through. She will probably be sick for awhile and you may see some blood in the stool and she is probably in a lot of discomfort. If she is still sick I would bring her back to the vet.

so none of the bone showed up on x=ray stuck anywhere right? I would say follow up with your vet and let them know what symptoms she is still having, Great job for taking her to the vet.

cooked bones splinter… raw bones don’t..

I don’t give my dogs any bones.
