Can inhaling too much water vapour make you really ill?

Yesterday I stood up in the bath, and though I felt fine at first, I suddenly drew a sharp breath and felt as if water was filling my lungs. I ran out and collapsed in my mum’s room and was fainting. I couldn’t breathe properly for about 20 minutes. Now my throat is sore and at the back of my tongue sits a horrible green-coloured saliva which I keep regurgitating. I’m shakey and my entire skeleton aches. I also feel really sick. I’m unusure if it’s a chill or not, because I was pretty warm yesterday…etc.

Thank you, but seeing a doctor in such short notice in this country (England) is like gold-dust! I’ll try to make an appointment but the NHS don’t give a sh*t either way.

go to the doctor! I don’t know what is wrong with you, but it sounds bad :(

Answer #3

wow first you should go see a doctor this could be a big problem, second yes to much water vapor can cause you to faint. b/c your lungs can get too much water condensing in them from inhaling the steam. thats why when you go into a sauna at the spa/gym you can only be in there for so long. can have a mold issue in your body which could explain the green color you are talking about. so best to see a doctor and explain what happened.
