Can I move out at the age 16???

Yoo. can I move out at the age of sixteen without having to go to court??? I just really want to get out of my dad’s house. . . . and when im saying moving out. I mean like out of the country I live in Canada at the moment . . . . and I really want to move out I mean like I have the money and everything . and all I have to ask my dad. but I’m just wondering if I HAVE to go to court . or I don’t have to . and just keep this moving out on the down low?

Lol, Well I’ve been looking through all kinds of things on google about this cause I wanna move out when im 16 too and soo far it looks like you can move out at 16 but your still your parents responsiblity no matter what ull need your dads permission too leave the country.

16 is the legal age to leave home in Canada.

It’s YOUR age that matters. You can do it with your parents permission, but not without. The court is only needed if you are seeking emancipation. And I don’t know if that applies to Canada.

well you defo cant move out of the country without his permission because hes your legal guardian and is liable for you until you turn 18 . I dunno about just moving out of his house though you might be able to do that … :)Xo

No you cannot move out at 16.
