Can I move out of my house, I am 16?

Can I move out of my house and in with my boyfriend if we have a kid together and I am 16?

Answer #1

Your parents would have to give you permission to live with your boyfriend. I understand that you and your boyfriend have a kid together, but unfortunately you are not considered an adult based on the fact that you have a kid. Your parents are still responsible for you until you become an adult which is 18 years of age (similarly you also will be responsible for your kid until he or she reaches 18 years of age). I would just ride it out, because in 2 more years you will be able to make all your decisions.
